The bus stop on the corner of 24th and Engert was vandalized early Sunday morning. The glass panels were smashed, the bench was removed, the metal frame was torn down, the area around the bus stop was then jack hammered, and bulldozed repeatedly. Then lighter fluid was sprayed and a fire was started. Finally a two hundred foot crane was constructed over the stop and dropped a piano the ground.
An investigation by police and the DOT is ongoing.
