Local Democrats Gather to Watch Obama’s Speech

Members of the local district democrats will be gathering at Piroshky Café on Castro Street to watch President Obama address Congress on health care.

“We’ve been out all summer, pounding the pavement for real healthcare reform, and although some have been working much harder than others, now is the time to share the success equally.”

Following the speech those gathered will take part in an important conference call with Congressman Matt Carter, to talk about the work that still needs to be done.

“We will follow whatever orders he gives us , until our final solution is realized.”
