Burnt Oak Fall Festival

Burnt Oak’s Fall Festival is falling your way so prepare to make a catch. Each September Farkas Street turns in a winter wonderland with an intense fall theme, as we welcome and celebrate autumn. You could fall off the roof of O’Fitzagins Pub and not have as much fun.

This year the festival will be held from September 25 through the 26th. "It's definitely the highlight of my fall," said festival organizer Robert Walpong.

There will be a leaf toss, simulated tractor rides, and because summer is still in the air a cider covered slip and slide into a wall of pumpkins.

Students at Cullen Elementary school will be let out of classes early on Friday, except for Lisa Marley's third grade classes because her husband was killed fourfestivals ago when he was impaled by a rake.

So come fall into some new friendships, and hit the ground hard with an exciting outlook on the new season.
